Hello! I am Mrs. Cooper! I teach Title 1 English Language Arts for grades K-6. I am also the district Title 1 Director and ELA Coordinator. I coached volleyball for 16 years before deciding to take a step back to complete my master's degree a few years ago. I have been teaching for 18 years now. All of which have been at Valley. I taught Kindergarten my first 6 years before moving into Title. I love teaching here where I know all the students and most of the families in the community. Valley is part of my family! I grew up as a Viking and continue to live in Caledonia. I bleed red and gold through and through! Go Vikings!

Bo and I got married in 2016. We have beagle named Roscoe who loves to go camping with us. I like to write a lot of stories about Roscoe and our camping adventures with my students. He is quite the character! I am also a HUGE Harry Potter fan, and I have my classroom decorated in the theme which makes me smile each morning when I come to school.
